Copy printed on pink leaves, with manuscript pencil and ink annotations on -- pages. The first show co-created by Stephen J. Cannell, about a unique team of the Los Angeles Police Department, lead by Chase Reddick (Mitchell Ryan), that specializes in solving unusually difficult or violent cases. The series premiered on September 11, 1973 and aired for 23 episodes, ending on April 10, 1974. In this installment, Sgt. MacCray (Wayne Maunder) attempts to infiltrate a garbage removal firm whose owner is syndicate boss, and is distracted by the attention of the crime boss' daughter. Set in Los Angeles. Two original screenplays, both containing both Parts I and II of the 1979 TNT television series, which aired in two two-hour parts on May 13 and 14, 1979. Copies belonging to actress Christina Cummings, who played the "Barmaid," with a marker annotation circling her character with her name adjacent on the Cast page of the first script and an ink annotation of "Barmaid / Sc 62.63" on the title page of the second script. Both screenplays are dated November 24, 1978, the first on all yellow leaves, with the latest revisions dated 1/30/79, and the second on yellow leaves with blue revision pages dated 2/21/79. Based on the 1975 historical novel by John Jakes, the second of Jakes' "The Kent Family Chronicles," (also known as "The American Bicentennial Series"), preceded by the 1974 novel "The Bastard," and followed by the 1975 novel "The Seekers," which was then followed by five additional novels in the series over the following four years. Sequel to the 1978 Universal Television mini-series "The Bastard," directed by Lee H. Katzin. The continuing saga of Philip Kent (Andrew Stevens), the illegitimate son of an English nobleman who renounces his birthright to become a Colonial soldier during the American Revolution, and befriends the southern aristocrat Judson Fletcher (Don Johnson), and helps to thwart a plot to assassinate George Washington (played by Peter Graves). Shot on location in Hope Valley, California.
