A loose remake of the 1937 film, "Love is News" with Tyrone Power and Loretta Young, "Sweet Rosie O'Grady" finds Betty Grable in London, seeking to better herself as an artist, which in 1943 means landing a wealthy duke for a husband. But newspaperman Robert Young has o…ther plans for her love life. Remade once more as a comedy in 1948, as "That Wonderful Urge," with Tyrone Power and Gene Tierney. Shot on location in California. 10 x 8 inches. Good, with profuse manuscript annotations to the verso and three to the recto, although not obscuring the image. Stamped to the verso.

Rare 1740 edition of Robert Estienne's "greatest monument of Latin scholarship." Folio, four volumes bound in full vellum with spine labels decorated and titled in gilt, woodcut printer's device portrait of Estienne to each title page. In very good condition. One of the foremost printers of his time, Robert Estienne was asked to… either compile a dictionary from the best Latin authors or make one himself; in 1531 he published Thesaurus linguae latinae, which is considered by many scholars to be the foundation of modern Latin lexicography. Moreover, this dictionary made Estienne the "father of French lexicography".
