In den WarenkorbHardcover. Zustand: Very Good. Various (illustrator). 2nd Edition. Cream paper covered boards, white cloth spine, gilt decoration, 4to. Pages not numbered, Prelims in polish followed by introduction in polish, french and english ( 5pp each ), polish introduction by Jaromir Celakovsky. Each has a list of illustrations to follow, these are a total of 30 patterned tissue guarded tipped in plates, mostly black and white but several coloured views of Prague, works of art etc ( all present ). The gilt decoration on the cover is by J Simak, and is partially rubbed. Cover leading margin a little worn and faintly marked, with some surface loss to lower corner. Letterpress and graphics in prelims printed in red and black inks, and is attributed to Dr E Gregor and Son. There is some sort of tie in to the School of Crafts in Prague but I can`t quite make out the wording to translate adequately. The dedication ? page preceding the title page is signed in black ink by a J Schmottic ? perhaps, this is adjacent to a stamp for what translates as The Board of Continuing Trade Schools in Prague. The first edition was issued in 1911 as far as I can see. Clean and tight, if a bit rubbed to cover. About VG.
