The covers are slightly rubbed and soiled. There are multiple very small light stains on the covers. There is a tiny gouge in the cloth of the front cover. The underlying boards… are peeking through at the top corners of the covers. The front hinge is a little weak, and the rear hinge is split. The text block is starting to come away from the covers. The former owner's name is on the front free endsheet. A couple of the pages are detached, but present. Includes an article on The Pen edited by Wallace Stegner on p. 153.
