Red publisher's cloth with black and gold lettering and a mounted black and white illustration on the front board, the design of the spine of the original publication stamped on the rear board. With six leaves of notepaper at the end of the volume, for the salesman to record the names and addresses of those who wish to buy the book. A salesman's sample with portions of the book's text and a few of the engravings.
