Binding of Light brown cloth spine over decorative paper covered boards in good condition with some shelf wear to top and tail of spine, rubbing to all edges and tips and some scratches and small marks with samll tear to top of spine. Inside gift inscription to FFE paper dated "Christmas 1883" spine cracked in a couple of places with back hinge also cracked leaving book cocked but with binding still tight.
