Inside gift inscription to FFE paper dated "Christmas 1883" spine cracked in a couple of places with back hinge also cracked leaving book cocked but with binding still tight. All pages and illustrations in excellent condition, clean and bright with no signs of aging. a nice copy of this beautifully illustrated book. M. Ellen Edwards & John C. Staples (illustrator).
