On front free endpaper, small stickers to cover inscription from 1939. "New College Library Edinburgh" stamp with "Withdrawn" stamp over top of it at bottom title page. Some partially removed stickers on front endpapers where library issuing cards once were. Remains of sticker to bottom of spine. Pages 251 to 256 torn near the bottom, though all text still present. Tight and discreet repairs to spine. Edges and corners are tight and without much shelfwear. A good, tight copy.
