The third in the series of Burlington monographs, following Chinese and Spanish art publications. A good black cloth hardback with gilt motif to front and gilt title to spine. Some rubbing and bumping and sun fading to areas of the cover. 3.5cm tear to cloth at tail of spine. Pictorial endpapers - cracked at front joint. Text is bright and clean throughout, and soundly bound. Text in English. Colour Frontispiece + 68pp text + numerous plates + 4pp Index + an extensive section of art dealer advertisements.
