Ralph Stock was an English writer and traveller who in addition to travel books, published three novels and four volumes of short stories (of which this is one). He was better known for his short stories than his larger works and was a contributor to 'The Captain' and 'World Wide Magazine'. Some stories were adapted into screenplays leading to co-writing several films between 1930 and 1950. Further details and images for any of the items listed are available on request.
