Etwas spätere, farblich voneinander abweichende Leinenbände mit aufkaschiertem Original-Leinenbezug mit figurativer Farbprägung. Mit über 3500 Chromolithografien auf 95 Tafeln und 113 Textillustrationen in Schwarz-Weiß. Fehlendes Blatt mit Legende zu den Abbildungen von Tafeln 17 (a) in Tinte auf vorhergehender Tafel verso handschriftlich ergänzt. Einbände etwas bestoßen und berieben sowie leicht fleckig, Schnitt minimal stockfelckig, Seiten und Tafeln leicht gebräunt sowie stellenweise leicht stock- bzw. fingerfleckig (vorwiegend in den Stegen), Tafel 18 mit Randeinriss (ca. 3 cm, ohne Bildberührung). Insgesamt gutes Exemplar. Slightly later cloth bindings, differing in colour, with laminated original cloth cover with figurative colour embossing. With over 3500 chromolithographs on 95 plates and 113 text illustrations in black and white. Missing leaf with legend to the illustrations of plates 17 (a) added by hand in ink on the verso of the previous plate. Bindings somewhat bumped and rubbed as well as slightly stained, edges minimally foxed, pages and plates slightly darkened as well as slightly foxed and fingerstained in places (mainly margins), plate 18 with marginal tear (approx. 3 cm, without touching the image).
