Signed by Peter Wank on title page. Profusely illustrated with b/w reproductions of photographs, architectural plans and drawing throughout. Includes projects as the German Pavilion at Barcelona in 1928-29, the country house built with bricks is one of van der Rohe's most dynamic and sculptural compositions, the country house built with reinforced concrete, an intricate functional building with a Swastika like architectural plan, the glass high rise at the Friedrichsbahnhof, or the sketches for van der Rohe's house in Tirol, this is an extraordinary documentation of the extent of his work, and the influence it had on contemporary architecture.
