An interesting early concept involving a booster shuttle carrying an orbital shuttle to the edge of space. The booster would be designed and built by the Convair Division of General Dynamics, San Diego, California. In this concept drawing the booster shuttle has the straight wing configuration which was eventually discarded for the delta wing that was used on the actual Space Shuttle. Softcover / Paperback.
