The main matter consists of articles, sepia photography and numerous exquisitely rendered full colour and gilt illustrations: there are brilliant facsimiles of Oriental art books, tipped-in reproductions of aristocratic portraits in watercolour, contemporary abstract art, all in colour, among many other amazing illustrations.
