About 280 species found in the Netherlands and Flanders (Belgium), accompanied by numerous colour photographs and drawings of their microscopic characters, are fully described and illustrated in detail. Keys for the identification of the different species are included. References are also given to extralimital species occurring close to the limits of the area of study.
