Erstausgabe
Hardcover. Zustand: Near Fine/Fine. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Very Good. 1st Edition. 8vo., 376pp. Sharp First Edition of this "weird tale" of a man with paranormal abilities. Originally published in serial form in Argosy All-Story Weekly in 1928. Bound in blue-gray cloth with lettering stamped in navy on the front board and spine. Ruled in blind. Square, tight and clean throughout save some foxing on the top edge of the text block. Little if any page toning. Very mild rubbing to spine ends. Very well-preserved. Very attractive unclipped, though unpriced, dust-jacket has a couple of short tears at the top and bottom of the front spine fold with a small tape mend at the verso of the crown. A few tiny nicks and closed edge-tears. Mild rubbing and some toning to spine and rear panel. Still fresh and bright and presents remarkably well. with no creases or tears. A very pretty collectable copy and though not uncommon, much scarcer in such nice condition.
