However, the author's fell for Henry Morris' sense of humour, so we learn that his one-man operation at the Bird & Bull Press is claimed as having twenty staff, occupying a plant of 20,000 square feet and has as its director the legendary Dr Theodor Bachaus author of Marbled papers of San Seriffe and other light classics!

Number 10 of 75 (100) copies printed in English on Hayle Mill paper in loose folds.Colophon signed by the author and artist. Coloured etchings with blind surrounds by Birgit Skiold. Brown cloth drop-back box, titled in blind on the front. A fine copy. Seven intaglio prints and etchings - no colour on six prints; the seventh with multiple colours. In 1975 James Kirkup won the Keats Award and was known for his poems and prose about Japan.

Zustand: Near Fine. First edition (hardback), limited to 200 numbered copies, of which this is copy number 8. This work consists of a poem by James Kirkup, printed on 8 folded sheets of card, each accompanied by a print of a lithograph or etching by Birgit Skiold. Also included are a signed print entitled "water is water" (signed in pencil by the artist), a title page, and a limitation page (signed by both the author and the artist). The contents are housed in the original brown cloth solander box (which measures 25cm by 25cm). The box and the contents are in very good condition. The limitation page states "this is number 8/200 of a signed edition of 200 books with twenty Artist's Proof copies, five H.C., and ten reserved for presentation". Although not explicitly stated, it is likely that this copy (number 8) is one of the Artist's Proof copies.

No. 38 of 200 copies, signed and monogrammed. Two volumes. Text volume pp. 280. Sample volume with 45 samples all relating to the text and in a ring binder. Sm. 4to., original green cloth, sample volume with paper samples in a ring binder with printed dividers and index. Both volumes in the original green cloth and card slipcase. An extremely good copy. The 45 paper samples are from countries all over the World including Australia, France, tehUK, India, Israel, Japan, Italy, Poland, Sweden and the USA. A fascinating broad overview of papermaking.
