Zustand: Near Fine. First edition (hardback), limited to 200 numbered copies, of which this is copy number 8. This work consists of a poem by James Kirkup, printed on 8 folded sheets of card, each accompanied by a print of a lithograph or etching by Birgit Skiold. Also included are a signed print entitled "water is water" (signe…d in pencil by the artist), a title page, and a limitation page (signed by both the author and the artist). The contents are housed in the original brown cloth solander box (which measures 25cm by 25cm). The box and the contents are in very good condition. The limitation page states "this is number 8/200 of a signed edition of 200 books with twenty Artist's Proof copies, five H.C., and ten reserved for presentation". Although not explicitly stated, it is likely that this copy (number 8) is one of the Artist's Proof copies.
