The spine strip and the front board each have a gilt star, red northern lights, the northern hemisphere of a globe, and a seascape in green. The front board also has a browntone, textured portrait of Nansen with gilt background and a leafy twig. German text. 478 pages; b/w illustrations. Title page states, "Deutsch von Eugen von Enzberg" and "Gronland." Decorative endpapers. Ribbon marker. Text block ends are red.
