It premiers snuff bottles spanning the entire Qing dynasty, the period in which bottles reached their apogee. This bilingual catalogue, English and Chinese, includes pieces from thirteen prominent collectors in Hong Kong, all of whom are members of the Society. The quality of snuff bottles gathered for this exhibition, numbering three hundred and twelve, results from the passion of individual collectors for the joy of finding superb examples and sharing them not only with the convention registrants but with the public at large. The quality of the bottles is, furthermore, testimony to the high aesthetic standards exercised by each collector.
