Nice shape overall.Kerouac's uncommon second album and his first as the sole poet, flanked by saxophonists Al Cohn and Zoot Sims. A real high point of Beat poetry in its own way, combining jazz and occasionally brilliant short-attention-span zen poems; a format often parodied but seldom heard in its original incarnation.
