'The Baron de la Glacière' in the 'Scrap of Paper', with other things at Woolwich, date not yet fixed [.] If I do not hit your taste in what I send, I'll try again. It will not be easy to get another 'Marie de Fontanges' [.]". - Palgrave Simpson's most successful work was "A Scrap of Paper", an adaptation of "Les Pattes de mouche" by Victorien Sardou, which opened at the St. James's Theatre on 22 April 1861. - Traces of old mounting.
