Stated first ed.; 98 p., clean and unmarked anywhere; drawings by Mac Shepard; binding tight;unfaded boards with still bright gilt lettering on spine have a little bumping on corners despite the protection of the glossy pictorial d.j., which has suffered some rubbing at corners and edges, and an open tear at foot of spine while discharging its duties. Paper strong and only faintly age-toned.

Hardcover. Zustand: Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Acceptable. Hardcover in good condition. Removable plastic covered unclipped dust jacket in acceptable condition. Jacket is marked and sunned. Edges are creased and torn. Board corners and spine ends are bumped. Spine is cocked. Page block is lightly foxed, with the occasional spots of foxing within. Binding is sound and pages are otherwise clear. LW. Used.

Printed Wrappers. Zustand: Near Fine. First Edition, First Printing. 51 pp. Lightly used, slight browning at edges, no chips or tears or marks.

First Edition Thus. xvi + (iv) + 18 + (iv) + 19 + (v) + 11 pages, LIMITED EDITION OF 50 COPIES (THIS UNNUMBERED), INSCRIBED "REVIEW COPY" IN INK ON THE LIMITATION PAGE, faint pencil inscription on the front cover stating "2/8/12. Reviewed" and initialled, small label on the spine, covers repaired with archival tape by a previous owner,a couple of previous tape repairs to small tears in the covers, front and rear covers stained, also affecting the two preceding / following leaves to a lesser extent, front cover creased, a few marginal marks and a marginal note in pencil, otherwise internally very clean and sound. Collated and complete. Extremely scarce. James Gabler describes it as "Rare" in "Wine into Words", 1985. Size: 22.5 x 17.5 Cm.
