Vintage black-and-white still photograph from a re-release (presumed) of the 1950 film. Wanda Hendrix plays a WAVE officer endlessly pursued by ex-airman Edmond O'Brien (among others). However, she only has eyes for her boyfriend Dick Erdman, who is on the lam from vengeful millionaire Rudy Vallee. 8 x 10 inches. Very Good plus, several creases, a few tiny tears, annotations in manuscript pencil on the verso.

Vintage publicity photograph of Herbert Mundin and Claudia Morgan from the 1937 film. From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s. William Lundigan stars as reporter who gets himself thrown in jail in the hopes of interviewing Bernadene Hayes, accused of killing her millionaire boyfriend. Upon discovering a beautiful girl in the next cell, he assumes she is Hayes, but is actually Claudia Morgan, another reporter who schemed their way into the jail to get the story. 10.25 x 8 inches. Near FIne.

Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s. William Gargan stars as a pugnacious New York radio show producer who is fired after punching the sponsor of the "Crunchie-Munchie Hour" during rehearsal, and finds a job managing WBAM, a rural radio station housed in a barn in Valley Falls. 10 x 8 inches. Very Good plus, with a faint diagonal crease to the upper left.
