"Agricultural extension is the backbone for rapid rural development through profitable agriculture especially to the rural poor in the developing world. In such situation, extension workers play a vital role in educating farmers to produce better crops and gain more income from farming. The very success of extension programmers depends upon its capability to cater the needs of rural people. It has been observed that several technologies demonstrated and adopted by the beneficiaries could not last longer after withdrawal of the said programmers. This may be due to improper feedback apropos programmes and/or lack of interest on the part of the beneficiaries.
