The endpapers have a browntone illustration of a boat and dock. The third page states, "One thousand copies only of this book have been especially bound by Doubleday, Page & Company for pr…esentation only." The content is in prose form, not drama form. The title page is arranged like a theater program. The spine strip: The words are not legible. The top and bottom edges are a little frayed. Boards: The paper is rubbed through to the board in a dz. places. The color is rubbed from many places on the edges. The top third of the front free endpaper is clipped and missing. The front pastedown has a bookplate, two small clippings about the author, and the remnants of a label. The same illustration is on the back endpaper, and it is not damaged.
