Chen Jiagang (1963- ) was born in China and trained as an architect at Chongqing University. After practicing architecture for some years he became interested in the development of modern Chinese cities and started to document his observations with photographs. He began to exhibit in 1999. He concentrated on photographing China's 'Third Front' or boomtown cities. Several sections in this book are titled Third Front. 10" high X 11" wide. Scarce signed.
