Marbled endpapers. Rubbing to edges. Slight wear to ends of spine and corners. Light marking to boards, scratch to front board. Browning to page edges. Good solid binding with no cracking to joints. Foxing to text and plates, mostly light. Heavier foxing to a few of the tissue guards. Light water staining to margins of the engraved title page. Previous owner's name to leading blank. Includes engraved title page for 'Bath and Bristol' but the title pages for the two Wales volumes have been discarded when bound. 'Bath and Bristol' comprises: Engraved title page with vignette; letterpress title page with vignette, plus 48 engravings on 24 plates. North Wales: 84 engravings on 42 plates (lacking only the vignette on the discarded title page). South Wales: 92 engravings on 46 plates. Overall condition is Very Good Minus.
