Todd' (with printed name of the illustrator 'I. M. Bull') to front free endpaper, showing French doors open to a garden and river-bank with fishing lines, flies and nets as a decorative border to the bookplate. Illustrated with four sepia photogravure tissue-guarded plates: frontispiece showing: 'The First Cast', 'A Favoured Spot' facing page 56; 'The Topmost Shallow' facing page 92; 'On The Way to the River' facing page 156. All four plates present and clean with their original tissue-guards intact. ***Very good in orange-red cloth-covered boards with gilt titles and gilt borders to spine and gilt titles, gilt illustration and blind borders to front board.
