Blue cloth covers clean but slight rubbing to edges and extremities. This is dedicated to the British Phrenological Society, of whichSevern had been a Past President, on the occasion of its Golden (50th) Anniversary.

First Edition. Near fine copy in the original gilt-blocked cloth. Panel edges very slightly dust-toned as with age. Corners sharp with an overall tight, bright and clean impression. Binding tight and square, contents clean and unmarked.
