Collated, complete.In 1896 three books were published that are now considered "automotive incunabula" (incunabula commonly used to refer to books published during the first fifty years of printing). They are Farman's technical and historical treatise, Knight's guide for owners and operators, and Sennett's'Carriages without horses shall go'(Norman Library of Science and Medicine 766).To the original paper is added remarks on the future of horseless road locomotion, notes on the new enactment, the Horseless Carriage Act, 1896, evolution in modes of travel, the "engineer" competition 1897 and local government board regulations.
