Comintern's Executive Committee (1919-43) launched this magazine in 1919 with the initial series appearing during 1919-24. This issue is one of the New Series, technically speaking "Volume 2" (1924-26), with volumes numbered thereafter. The publishing address at 16 King Street, Covent Garden is that of the Communist Bookshop, which also distributed for the Communist Party of Great Britain. The Publishing and Editor's Offices are given in Leningrad. This issue is undated but 1925 with the opening article referencing 14 years on since the 1911 Revolution in China. This contains articles on China's labour movement (I. Heller), China's National Revolutionary Movement and tactics of the Chinese Communist Party; events in Persia covering Riza Khan, Arabistan, the Anglo-Persian Oil Company, and government crises in 1924 (Andrei Chervoni); Syria's independence struggle (P. Kitaigorodsky); universal Suffrage in Japan (Sen Katayama); the Japanese Proletarian Party (B.
