Einband ausgezeichnet, Kapitale minimal gestaucht; Kopfschnitt geringfügig angeschmutzt, einige Seiten ganz minimal fleckig - - ansonsten sehr gut: Sauber, vollständig, fest in der Bindung , keine Eintragungen welcher Art auch immer . DER 'Seligmann', kann man so sagen: Es ist das Werk, mit dem Seligmann seinen hervorragenden Ruf als Ethnologe/Anthropologe begründete. Exzellente Fototafeln, u.a. zahlreiche von Barton, der viele Jahre später mit einem aufsehenerregenden Artikel und vielen Fotos im 'Journal of the Royal Anthropological Institute of Great Britain and Ireland' (Vol. XLVIII, 1918, S. 22-79) über die Tatauierung der Motu und Koita in der Region Port Moresby erneut das Interesse und die Aufmerksamkeit auf diese Region Süd-Ost-Neuguineas richtete.
