In fair condition, lightly aged, with traces of stub from mount adhering to one edge. Folded once for postage. A charming missive. Reads: 'My dear Mrs Lister / I shall be delighted to come to you, if I can make my escape from where I shall be, in any decent time. Summer is a pleasant season - but what cruel separations are made by it! We might have paid a visit to the Pyramids - Yes, & to Athens too - I might almost say - to Niagara since we met last. / Yours ever / S. Rogers'.
