Eliot during its entire run from October 1922 until it ceased publication in January 1939 ("Perhaps one of the most influential critical reviews of its day," Miller-Price 45). Contents include: an essay by Yeats (his footnote informs the reader that "The Irish periodical, which has hitherto published my occasional comments on Irish events, explained that this essay would endanger its existence. I have therefore sought publication elsewhere.-W.B.Y."); an essay by Forster, a poem by MacLeish, and a short story by Moncrieff.
