Chapter 2 is a review of the technical aspects of surgical implantation of the NeuroCybernetic Prosthesis(r). Chapter 3 presents the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of VNS in clinical studies. Chapter 4 outlines the practical use of VNS in a clinical epilepsy practice. Chapter 5 provides answers to 21 commonly asked questions regarding VNS. At the conclusion of the book, a Glossary defines a number of terms specific to VNS and epilepsy." Foreword.
