With silk endpapers and all edges gilt. Illustrated in with engravings throughout by artists including Flaxman, Parkes-Bonington, Constable and Gainsborough, and fascimile autographs to the rear of each binding. Rubbing to the spines and some scratching to the boards, with loss to the foot of volume 1's front board and crazing/cracking to the rear board of volume 3. Foxing to volume 1, and occasional markings to the leaves of volumes 2 and 3. A small paper remnant to the title of volume 2 where the half title leaf has previously become stuck. A VG set of this beautifully bound and illustrated Victorian anthology of British poetry.
