Foxing to volume 1, and occasional markings to the leaves of volumes 2 and 3. A small paper remnant to the title of volume 2 where the half title leaf has previously become stuck. A VG set of this beautifully bound and illustrated Victorian anthology of British poetry. Volume 1 covers the 14th to the 17th century, from Geoffrey Chaucer to Dryden; volume 2 covers the 17th and 18th century, from Swift to Burns; and volume 3 covers the 18th and 19th century, from Wordsworth to Tennyson.
