In den WarenkorbHardcover. Zustand: Very Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Very Good. Herbert J. Harvey (illustrator). First Edition. Halton & Truscott Smith, no date, probably 1920s. Quater cream cloth with red decorative paper-covered boards, very good codnition in very good Brown dust jacket with titles, and vignettes on back and front cover, in green. There is a little edgewear to the binding, inside the pages are nice and clean. The text tells the roguish story of the clever little tailor, who by his wits rises from poverty to marry the (not exactly beautiful) princess, and there are 12 tipped in colour plates by Herbert J. Harvey. The text pages have a decorative border, and most also have a vignette of scissors and vine leaves or scissors and a coronet. 56 pages printed on heavyweight paper, colour plates tipped in onto grey card. A most attractive and amusing book.
