She met and married Siegfried Sassoon in 1933. Although they separated after the birth of their son, George, they never divorced. She died in 1973. Bound in three-quarter red skiver. gilt, raised bands, marbled paper sides and end-papers.

Second Edition, revised and enlarged. Slight foxing throughout and edges of leaves a little darkened, otherwise a nice copy.
