With descriptions of the images and a commentary on the usual habits and habitats of each bird. Written by Alice Whitby, a British author. Illustrated by Sara W. M. Fallon, a British illustrator noted for her bird and animal images. In the original quarter red cloth binding with pictorial paper covered boards. Externally, sound with rubbing and light chipping to the extremities. Minor fading to the spine and the odd mark to the boards. Front hinge starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound.
