LXVIII-551pp. Solo Tomo 1º. Obra muy rara. Tomás Sánchez, fue un jesuita andaluz, nacido en Córdoba en 1550, pero vinculado a Granada desde su ingreso en la Compañía a los 16 años hasta su muerte en 1610. Vivió siempre en el Colegio de San Pablo y allí escribió todas sus obras de moral, sobre todo sus diez libros sobre el Sacramento del matrimonio, que le convirtieron en uno de los más grandes moralistas de la historia.

2 vols in one. 12 x 8", full vellum with ornately penned title on spine, 1052pp in double columns + index, 402pp in double columns; 425pp in double columns, covers rubbed and darkened, hinges loose, inner hinges cracked, ink inscription on verso of front fly, engraved title with inkstamp, ink initials and repair to bottom margin, contents with toning, finger soiling, some staining and spotting, scattered ink marks and ink stain to foredge of text block, but still a relatively nice copy. Tomus Secundus and Tertius were published by Bernardum Iuntam: Venice 1606.
