AN UNRECORDED ISSUE, with an additional section devoted to the founding of the Academie Royale d'Ecriture. This section comprises 5 text pages not described in recorded editions and a full-page plate by Defehrt after Monnet (an allegory of writing). Printed on very fine, thick laid paper with ample margins. The impressions of the etchings are outstanding. 4to. Bound in quarter calf and decorated boards.
