A clean and tight near fine copy in blue cloth boards in a very good plus dust jacket with a few edge tears, tiny chips and a small slice to the front flap. Still, a solid copy of the much less common hardcover format.

A very good plus copy in wrappers with some slight bumping to the top front corner of the pages. Seemingly uncommon.

Robert Doisneau (1912 - 1994) Known for: Street photography, Le baiser de l'hôtel de ville (The kiss by the City Hall) with Henri Cartier-Bresson, a pioneer of photojournalism. The Sage tale is rather like a short French movie reminds me of Jean Vigo. Taking a boy away from his pet even for a schoolday.
