This work is an account of a visit to the Yakutat Bay, Copper River and Prince William Sound region of Alaska in 1886. It also documents an attempt to ascend Mount St. Elias. The first edition of Shores and Alps Of Alaska by Heywood Walter Seton-Karr, published in 1887. This copy is from the library of philosopher and scientist, Joseph A. Sadony. (illustrator).
