Front endpaper and title page detached, as are the following three leaves which form all but one page of the preface. All detached leaves have worn and frayed edges. Remaining text lightly browned but tight and complete. Publisher was a homeopathic chemists in Birmingham and their stamp is on the front endpaper. Reading copy.
