Decorative stapled card covers. 8vo up to 9½" tall.; 16 pp. "A colourful 16 page booklet illustrating 160 Cap Badges of the Canadian Forces" (newspaper advertisement: Canadian Stateman, Bowmanville, Ontario P.7 May 29, 1941). The booklet was intended as a "know-me-better gift" with "limited number available" from local dealers. This copy has a blue inked stamp lower front cover of an Ottawa tire shop. Includes several reminders to: "Back the Troops! BUY WAR SAVINGS CERTIFICATES - regularly.". In very good condition with name front top edge, light cover wear; pages are clean without tears, folds or marks.

8vo, xii + 587pp. Original pale blue boards, slightly worn at corners; light foxing evident on front cover. Pages slgihtly yellowed. A comprehensive list of every rubber-producing company, along with its output and share price c1933. Includes original advertisements. A well-preserved copy in very good conditon.

Soft cover. Zustand: Good. 1st Edition. This is a circa 1930s folding poster leaflet for Antler Suitcases and Trunks, folded it measures 8.25 inches by 5.5 inches approx. Fully opened it measures 16.5 inches by 11 inches approx. Some marking and creasing, some nibbling loss at edges (see pictures) else in good general condition. A rare piece of post-war publicity from the Dunlop Rubber Company - only one other example is recorded on WorldCat, held by the University of Michigan. Comprising 42 leaves printed recto only, viz. a title and 41 leaves of patterns, numbered from 1 to 750 - there are a few numerical discontinuities, though the make-up of text is tight and original and there does not appear to be any loss. One might reasonably assume that these breaks in the numbering indicate that the patterns concerned were no longer in stock. Printed card wrappers, the contents in a loose-leaf style, all in excellent condition. *COPAC does not record a copy of this title.

[8]pp., fol., one blank leaf, fold mark down middle, good condition. The document gives the terms of the agreement, including (1a) the sale of "The shares and interests of the Vendors of and in the Companies set out in the Schedule [.] and/or other interests of the Vendors in all other foreign companies belonging to the Dunlop-Revere Emerge- Revere and Pirelli-Revere groups [.]" There are seven terms, and a schedule which lists various companies. The document has official stamps, and concludes with the Common Seals of both parties/companies, and the signatures of the seven witnesses. These signatures include "Malcolm Campbell | Director". The only connection with the rubber industry that I have uncovered so far is his use of Dunlop tyres in a race.
