First Edition. Good to very good copies all in the original gilt-blocked dark teal cloth boards, some of which are dust-dulled or superficially dampstained. Some corners bumped, with panel edges and endbands worn. Top edges gilt. Other edges foxed, along with endpapers. Pastedowns bear a prior owner's autograph. Core text blocks remain strong and, on the whole, clean, showing faint and sparse foxing only. A well-preserved set overall.
