A magnificently crisp yet diffuse and atmospheric rendering of the iconic Palazzo Dario and the Palazzo Barbaro Wolkoff from the Grand Canal. Ernest D. Roth, born in Germany but naturalized in the US from the age of five, studied at the National Academy of Design and the New York School of Art and gained fame for his etchings of New York, Venice, and other Italian cities.
