From 1965-67, Gered Mankowitz was the photographer, friend and travelling companion of The Rolling Stones. Throughout this time, he captured unique and breathtaking images of the band at work and at play; following an all-night recording session in autumn 1966 and shot at 5.30am on Primrose Hill, his vaseline-distorted photograph for the Stones' LP 'Between The Buttons' is regarded by many as one of the most memorable album covers of all time.
