Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Good. Kurt Wiese (illustrator). 1st Edition. Here is another "India" book, this one titled: "Face to Face with India" by Roland E. Wolseley. It was illustrated by Kurt Wiese and is inscribed on the front endpaper by the Author. This book provides a sense of the India of the early 1950s but also focuses on the role of Christian missionaries. The author interviews people from different walks of life to try and give the reader a sense of the Country. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The dust jacket shows some edge wear at the top & bottom of the spine and is a bit dust-dulled and darkened. The hard covers are clean and bright, as are the gilt titles. Inside, the only mark I found is the Author's extensive gift inscription; the rest of the pages and the drawings by the Artist are clean and bright, without toning or foxing. Both hinges are intact and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder. Inscribed by Author(s).
