It explains what Freemasonry is, how one becomes a Freemason, and what is involved. The guide also contains some of the museum's beautiful artefacts, many donated by the Cornwallis family who have a long association with Freemasonry in Kent. There are jewels, aprons, tableware and glasses, many displaying the symbolism that is an integral part of Masonic tradition. Far from being secretive, the Kent Museum of Freemasonry has welcomed the public since opening in 1933, and is delighted to share their collection with Masons and non-Masons alike. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition. Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged.
